What Is the Walk to End Alzheimer’s?

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the Alzheimer’s Association’s signature community fundraising event. Across the country, families, caregivers, volunteers, and local teams walk together to raise awareness and fund Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The Twin Cities walk gives our community a visible way to stand with people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, honor the families affected, and help move the mission forward.

Rose’s Daughters is supporting the Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s both by walking and by helping behind the scenes.
Our team is donating moving trucks and hands-on logistics support so event materials can be transported, staged, and ready for walk day at Target Field. From setup support to showing up as a team, our goal is to make the day easier for organizers and more meaningful for families who are walking in honor of someone they love.
What We Do
How Rose’s Daughters Supports People With Alzheimer’s
Moving can be overwhelming for any family, but memory loss adds another layer of planning, emotion, and care. Rose’s Daughters helps people with Alzheimer’s and their families move with a calmer, more familiar, and more supportive process.
Calm, Paced Move Planning
We organize each step clearly, and reduce last-minute decisions so the move feels less disruptive for the person living with memory loss.
Familiar Room Setup
We help recreate familiar layouts, place meaningful belongings thoughtfully, and unpack essentials first so the new space feels recognizable and comforting.
